History of the Michigan High School Stadium Site
	I began this site idea while talking to Searn on his message board.  I decided then to post a topic about it, around the 1st of August, and got a heavy response.  As such I started working offline with converting the old SpartanRaider website to mine.  The intial launching of the site occured on August 22nd with a link to it posted on Searn's message board.  This was done as soon as I finished placing all of SpartanRaider addresses onto the spreadsheet.   After looking at the stats and the fact that it will tax the sites abilities I decided a few days later to quickly breakdown the masterlist I posted to just by Alpha.  By that time I had over 400 schools with an address and around 220 to get.  Come October of 2004 I began a conversion process that is continued until March of 2005.  That involved removing the temporary spreedsheet formed webpages and using the new and present form.  By December I added around 70 more schools that have an adress to their football feild.  By the middle of December I was at near completion of gathering addresses for the site.  The only ones that were left were some Detroit Public Schools and a few sparce others.  By February of 2005 I had neary 2/3rds of the 'Alpha' listing finished and placed up.  February 18th was when I had all of the confrence pages placed up.  A few days later I started the regional listings.  That project is now nearly finished with only the SE region left to go along with the school location maps.  I also placed my links section to the site during the same time. What is left to do for the site is the following: Finish the county maps with feild locations Gather data on the remaining schools in regards to Capacity Place the Yahoo map links Place either the Terraserver links or Landvoyage links I also have to place the 2005 data of new schools and conferences.  Beyond this I will probally start the process of collecting pictures of each stadium.  Along with that I will work on making a top 25 lists of diffrent catergories.  Of course that is all in the future and I wont know for certian what I will end up doing.  I have just upgraded this site to an ad free version.  For historical porposes it was done on July 7th 2005.  I have also during the past few months added a new page.  It details the In fill turf systems in the state.  This info will suffice enough for to me finish out one aspect of the site.  This leaves me with just 2 things to collect until my next big change for the site sometime next year.  For anybody who wants to see the old site I have the link from the web Archive and is located HERE.
